International Journal of Sustainable Tropical Design Research and Practice aims to promote sustainable design through the advancement of conceptual, scientific and applied knowledge in the field of built environment and design. Built environment and design field is increasing relevant and sought after as many problems require creative and innovative solutions. Creative design process which is crucial for built environment and design disciplines is certainly imperative as it able designers to integrate broad range of knowledge to solve certain issues. Nevertheless, without the advancement of knowledge in the built environment and design field, it is doubtful that built environment and design disciplines can make significant impacts to the human wellbeing, environmental quality and economic development.
